class=\"section\">\n<h2>The Project<\/h2>\n\n<p>\nThe <strong>Soil Moisture Ensemble Method (SMEM)<\/strong> is an ESA-funded initiative\naimed at improving the accuracy and spatial resolution of soil moisture and vegetation\nwater content retrievals using multi-frequency satellite radar data.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe project addresses key challenges in complex environments such as mountainous terrain,\ndense vegetation and arid regions.\n<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 2 years (starting September 2025)<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<!-- CONCEPT -->\n<section class=\"section
